The world champion Hamilton defence his title got in 2008 with the victory on the malaysian grand prix. The second place was for the BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica and the third for Heikki Kovalainen's mcLaren. Raikonnen was fifth and the spanish guy Alonso was eighth.
